The Ultimaker Material Starter Bundle 12 (Single Extrusion) includes 12 spools of Ultimaker NFC PLA 2.85mm (750g) or Tough PLA (750g), suitable for any model of Ultimaker printer (or any other 3D printers that accept 2.85mm filament).

Before adding to your cart, select the filament option (PLA or Tough PLA). Both materials are easy to print. PLA is available in a wider range of colors but isn't as strong as Tough PLA. Tough PLA offers the toughness of ABS with the safety and ease of use found in regular PLA.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON COMPATIBILITY
Automatic material detection with this filament will only work when used with the newer Ultimaker 3, Ultimaker S3, Ultimaker S5, Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle, Ultimaker S7, and the Ultimaker S7 Pro Bundle.

The new Ultimaker NFC 2.85 mm filament is 100% compatible with Ultimaker 2+, Ultimaker 2 Extended+, Ultimaker 2 Go, and the Ultimaker Original+ Kit. The previous generation of non-NFC Ultimaker filament is 100% compatible with all Ultimaker 3D printers.

The difference is that you will only get the benefit of automatic material detection when using the Ultimaker NFC 2.85 mm filament exclusively with the newer Ultimaker 3, Ultimaker S3, Ultimaker S5, Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle, Ultimaker S7, or the Ultimaker S7 Pro Bundle.
